Greetings and salutations!

I am the BlogMaster on this Quest. I reside in the Shire of Murfreesboro in the state of TN, a pleasant community near Nashville. By day, I am a software wizard; in the evenings, I am an amateur competitive country dancer. I started the Code in 6th grade when our school added an Apple II computer to the school library. I taught myself Apple Basic and proceeded to the Academy to learn computer wizardry. I ducked out early with a young family and spent 3 years in the Army. After the Army, I worked for a school district, progressing from help desk to help desk lead and eventually certified as a Novell Certified Network Engineer. I eventually returned to programming and database development, where I have been for the last 20+ years. Primarily in the Microsoft stack with c#, T-SQL, and many flavors of javascript web front ends. I am back to school hoping to finish my degree and ensure that future opportunities are not lost to those who have completed their degrees. With this blog, I hope to share and learn from each other.
